Mundo Azul is committed to providing outstanding care to children in a safe, learning, and “blue” environment. This is a bilingual English-Spanish speaking childcare
Our goal is to teach and motivate kids to discover and develop their social and cognitive skills. We care and teach our children through music, reading, educational games, and fun activities.
We are Spanish cross-cultural childcare that believes in cultural diversity and oriented to babysit kids from different ethnicities. Our language immersion Spanish balances fun and learning while offering children to expand their language.

Milagros Barahona
Founder, Owner and Child Development Specialist
My name is Milagros, a native Spanish speaker, who has dedicated her life to children care. I have raised two kids of my own and babysat children from different ages. I have gained and developed a passionate teaching set of skills in 20+ years of experience that qualified me to open my daycare.
I have worked in daycare centers, churches, and family home environments as a babysitter and nanny where I supported my kids on their homework, guided them, fed them, and took them to their daily activities such as piano, tennis, soccer, art, etc. Besides my experience, I have taken numerous qualifying classes in children care at 4C’s and UC Davis
I continue to work to better myself for the benefit of my daycare and my kids. My learning never stops as I continue to take classes and seminars in childcare.
